Fall 2026 Large Item Pickup

Centerville 4, in partnership with the St. Clair County Clean Sweep, is hosting a large trash collection event for residents.

PLEASE NOTE – THIS SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE TO SIGNAL HILL RESIDENTS IN STOOKEY TOWNSHIP OR CITY OF BELLEVILLE ZONES.

📅 Dates to Remember

• Sunday, August 16: Placement Deadline. All items must be at the street curb by Sunday night.
• Monday, August 17: Collection Begins. Crews will start pickup on Monday morning (weather permitting) and will continue collecting throughout the week until the entire district is covered.
• ⚠️ Important Note: Once crews pass your house, they will not return. Please ensure everything is curbside by Sunday night!

🗂️ How to Prepare: Separate Your Items!

To assist the crews with safe and efficient collection, please separate your items into like kinds for pickup. Do not mix different types of waste together or stuff a fridge full of garbage!

1. Metals & Appliances: Large appliances, stoves, washing machines, and metal items.
2. Paints & Chemicals: Sealed paint cans, household chemicals, and cleaners.
3. Other Large Items: Furniture, mattresses, large boxes, and general bulky debris.
